How to create your first personalized video

The video builder lives both on the Dashboard and at Studio » Videos » New Video. Both screens use the same four-step form. On the right side of the screen you will always see a Preview (with sample data — "Hi John") and a Summary panel that updates live as you fill in the form. The big purple Generate Clip button at the bottom-right unlocks once all required fields are filled.

Step 1 — Choose your presenter

The presenter is the face that appears in the corner of every personalized video.

Upload your photo (Recommended) — drag and drop a clear, well-lit, forward-facing photo into the upload area, or click it to open a file picker. Vumu cleans up the background for you.
Use a stock presenter — pick a built-in face. Filter the gallery with the All / Male / Female tabs and click the card you want.

Step 2 — Choose or clone your voice

Scroll down to Step 2. Filter the voice library by Female / Male and click the play icon next to any voice name to preview it. To use your own voice, click "Clone your voice" (top-right of Step 2) and follow the prompt to record a 30-second sample.

Underneath the voice gallery, set the Tone chip — one of Conversational, Cheerful, Professional, Dramatic, Calm, Excited. Tone is what gives your video its personality.
